You realize that the video has 15min and its from several days of testing, people who actualy are by the track have much more oportunities to see it better... BTW look at 8:08 how the Mercedes is jumpping...Restomaniac wrote:Is that the Mercedes bad in corners?
Watch 1.18-1.42 and we see a Red Bull power sliding like crazy and then a Mercedes followed by a Ferrari with very little if any difference in how glued they are to the track.
Then watch 5.33-6.02. If anything it's the Ferrari that doesn't want to get the power down not the Mercedes.
Both have lock-ups shown but to say the Mercedes is all over the place on the back of that is certainly stretching it.

Sky Sports as well as Lewis Hamilton himself have said the Mercedes was struggling today, other publications have also mentioned they have been struggling with the aero updates they tried out. This isn't 2014-2016 mark my words.Restomaniac wrote:I do realize it.Mr.G wrote:You realize that the video has 15min and its from several days of testing, people who actualy are by the track have much more oportunities to see it better... However it does look planted as does the Ferrari.
Yes it hopped in a tad I agree but all cars in that montage had their 'moments' .
My point is that we are being led to believe that the Mercedes is handling far worse than the Ferrari. Well not in that video it isn't and surely we would see some clear evidence of it?
Ferrari seemed to have made a step which is good for the sport but the reports are that they have gone clear past Mercedes on the drivability and I find that hard to believe.
Did I actually say it was?Wass85 wrote:Sky Sports as well as Lewis Hamilton himself have said the Mercedes was struggling today, other publications have also mentioned they have been struggling with the aero updates they tried out. I wouldn't read too much into what Lewis says. He's No.1 for playing mind games.Wass85 wrote:
