It also says it's 100% clean, no emissions..... These statements for electric cars really bug me, where do people think the electricity comes from - thats right, by and large, burning fossil fuels!

My dream car is so rare that it can only be glimpsed after a very significant investment in tools, steel, aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, industrial electronics, software, and perhaps a bit of money in real estate. Not to mention a few thousand man-hours.

In other words, I would want to build it myself. Learning and experimenting is more than half the fun for me.

I love the Marcos Mantis, awesome kit car and not slow either. I think there's one in the Dutch Supercar Challenge which enjoys some success.

You seem far more impressed with the Napier than the Mclaren. Brooklands?

Auto Union Type C Streamliner, V16 and broke 15 speed records in 3days one was 237mph on the track at AVUS and one on the Autobahn which depending on where you research is reported to have hit 253-275mph Audi report it to have hit 440km/h thats 273.4mph!!! Looking at it though I can't imagine it was up to much when it came to cornering!

It certainly is a beautiful peice of machinery though don't you think??

Yes Brooklands indeed. Definately worth going there btw, I live quite nearby and my gf's uncle is a member there so I pop down occasionally. You're not really allowed to sit in the Napier - but the guy running the exibishion said it was okay, apparently he's done 120mph in the thing - and he's not a young guy by any stretch of the imagination! Its an awe inspiring machine and so much rarer than the Mclaren which is probly why I had a grin like a cheshire cat on my face lol!

That said the Mclaren was a great experience too. Cramped also!

Oh and P.S despite my baby-face looks, yes I really am (very nearly) 21!

....The newly introduced Nissan GT-R that will be racing in the "Super GT" series. Which seems to be a worthy successor to the amazing R34 Skyline GTR so far, both in race and street trim.

"What am I?"

Small, with a high ratio of power/weight, over .9G cornering, less than 115' 60-0 braking, under 11 second 1/4 mile time, and weight under a ton.
