I will say that I NEED to get a recording of Alonso's radio communiations

It's a need that I stand no chance of getting but still.

it's getting embarrassing now i must admit.

The Alonso fans are seriously vocal today though. Weather is amazing, very little wind, sound of the
engines are great and the vibrations of "Alonso Alonso" in defiance of Hondas lack of engine for Fernando

I think we are already passed that and now it's both sad and annoying. All the other teams are like "stop with fricking bringing out the car! It's the final day and you are constantly causing red flags!"
It was already comical in 2015 and 2016. It's a tragedy for Alonso right now!
Wonder if he still "believes" in that project ??

Think Kimi just confirmed just how much faster these cars can go.
1,19.2 on Softs... Impressive!

Very quick time from Raikkonen – a 1m19.267s on soft tyres.
Seb did a similar thing yesterday, without lifting like Kimi now. Simulating Q2 run for the first set of tyres ahead of afternoon race sim?
AeroGimli.x

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

The car has been lifted up so many times that everything that McLaren desparately tried to hide with fences and whatnot, got revealed. Yesterday a photographer snuck up to the recovery truck and shot the whole underside of the car.

Well, the engine's shot, may as well match the rest ;)
Has the recovery truck done more milage than the McLaren yet? Has anyone spotted any new development bits on the crane?

Fernando just came past in the recovery vehicle - gave me a wave & shrug that said "yup, me again in the recovery truck & not the race car" - Karun Chandhok

Have McLaren/Honda finally broken him?

"11:13 Verstappen's final-sector time on super-softs was a tenth or so quicker than Raikkonen's. Now it's possible it was quicker on merit – he had softer tyres on after all. But he wasn't quicker in the other two sectors, so did Raikkonen hold back in the final sector like Vettel did yesterday?"

It will be even harder for Alonso seeing the Ferrari turning out to be the absolute fastest. Seems like Vettel's going to run away '11 or 13' style this time around. It's gonna be even more boring than '14 - 16', at least we had Ham vs Ros battles.
