Yes, he can regret playing games with Ferrari.
but that's sooooo of off-topic.

Both teams have tried to copy Mercedes PU and they are facing many problems but Honda´s case is even worse.

Renault isn't running a split turbo/compressor, unless I missed something?

My mistake, I thought they were trying to copy that system, perhaps I understood it incorrectly.

Alonso is back on track and has done a "competitive" lap according GP Update.

So it looks Like Mercedes are not even going to try and out do Ferrari.
In fact this is all very familar. Ferrari hit the eye catching numbers whilst Mercedes just cruise around for lap after lap after lap, etc. Please god let the outcome be different this time.

Haha I was going to post it, I guess GP Update doesn´t expect too much from McLaren.

As reference, Sauber posted a 1.21.67 on SS, the team with the smallest budget + 2016 engine...competitive is really an euphemism in this case, unfortunately

SCOTT MITCHELL: Also the Honda sounds like a strimmer running over a box of nails. It's so raw. And not in a good way.

All McHonda jokes are so low hanging fruit that they are not funny anymore.
Alonso is back out in the troublesome McLaren-Honda, while Raikkonen and Sainz continue what look like race simulations. Kimi is lapping in the 1m24s bracket; Sainz in the 1m26s. Alonso hasn't broken down yet, in fact he's just flashed past in 1m22.451s, within a few hundredths of his best time of the day so far.

Nice to see Lance Stroll bouncing back from the problems he had in week one and doing solid mileage in the second week.

I think it will be really close between Merc and Ferrari when we get to Melbourne.

I'm always amazed at how the cars end up so close (relatively) when there are large aero changes.
