1. Between Michael`s (race) track record for 1:24 :1 ... in 2004 and last year 1:28:9 ... we could see almost 5 sec. between them but you should bear in mind that 2016 care were is almost 100kg heavier (with the same engine power but with a lot more fuel on board) and for each 10kg they lose 3 tenths of a second per lap, so 3 sec. less ... so it`s proper to compare cars in Qualy trim, don`t you think?

2. Here on official site is saying that " Both the softs and supersofts must be used in the race" : https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/feat ... -call.html
So had a team want a 1 stop strategy they must do Q2 on supersoft in order to start them in the race and then switch with the other mandatory tyre - the soft one ...
Is there any realistically chance from top teams to do this strategy or it`s a 2 stop race more feasible?

- That can't be true . They can start on US and stop once. I think they meant that S and SS are two 'mandatory' race compounds.

- I don't know about SS, I thought they could run 1 stop anyway, Pirelli claimed 2 stops with 12 laps on US, we'll see.
