Five years sound too much, perhaps two more if he sees an important improvement. Sadly for Alonso he has only two options, to leave the sport or continue with McLaren.

In that case my guess is Ferrari, i think Vettel might want that challenge. (Beating Alonso in the same car would be one hell of a thing to put on hs resumé.)

It would be more interesting to see Ricciardo getting into the Ferrari since he beat tucked-in Vettel in his maiden season in the team.

Vettel does not have the driving talent to beat Alonso over a course of F1 season in the same car.

Wouldn't you like to find out for sure? (And it depends on the car, if it REALLY suits Vettel very well then Alonso might not beat him for instance.)

Well, that tells you everything you need to know - fly on the wall documentaries are almost never about successful operations these days. The TV company know there's blood on the walls, something that will make good TV.

I just noticed there are 2 testdays planned on 18-19 April in Bahrein (right after the Bahrein grand prix) ?
Lets hope Honda can have some decent upgrades by then so they can have 2 very usefull testing days this time

filming started months ago, around end of last season.

Noticed that Mario Illien now been reported (Auto Bild) to be working with Mclaren/Honda - which is something i had heard elsewhere but hadnt had it confirmed.
