For some reason I really like when track maps include the run-off areas.

Rain will definitely shuffle the field and a standing start in the rain will be very exciting too.

Rain on Friday, cold on Saturday, and rain on Sunday, should be fun. More specifically light rain on Friday morning, cloudy on Saturday, and good chance of rain for the race on Sunday ~60%
60% is not enough, I tend to be excited and then it doesn´t rain at all. :|

It's also quite far off. Forecasts tend to be unreliable so far in the future.

Less than 10 days is the rule of thumb, I'm usually not wrong about the weather.

I actually have my own simulation suite that goes a little bit further than GFS or ECFS. Relying on meta data, most places have several publicly accessible weather stations, and radar loops. You start pooling all that info, along with weather trends, and geography, and sea temperatures, currents, upper level winds and space weather(there's a bit more to it but can't say too much), and you can make decently accurate forecasts. The more data you have the better, takes a little while to compile everything but it works.

now they are at excuses making stage and dragging engine into every headline. I don't understand how Renault can play along with it
Given the new arrangement, Shouldn't Redbull be referring to Tag Heuer instead of Renault :D :D

Didn't knew you put that much effort into it. Good on you, respect for that.

Awesome man, I would like to have something similar but I lack your knowledge. Kudos for the great work you have done.

Well I for one would like to at least see the majority of running in the dry - I still think we don't really know people's pace on a more representative circuit, so would like to see it; like I said elsewhere, I think overtaking will be fine in the dry - the record breaking amount last year was too much (skewed a bit by people out of position, granted) so don't think it'll be a problem.

Maybe a shower at the end if/when everything's settled would be interesting, but otherwise the only positive I can see in rain is to see how the McLaren chassis fares.

How deep into turn one before they have to break?
Honda specifically?

Great stuff. Now all that is needed is to find a weather betting website and win some cash!

You know what, that actually seems like a decent idea. You could make a lot of money as a weather bookie, if you can predict the odd shower in Bahrain you can make some serious scratch.
