thanks for the pics and the work putting them together! :)

I couldn't figure out how to snatch them from formula1.com...

Looking again at the TF108 pictures, it seems Toyota is WAY behind the curve on the sidepod design... those look very reminiscent of the TF107...

Perhaps Heikki is wearing weights because he's got weak quads? lol

heheh :D That reminds me of last season when the FIA said that there should be no hugging between driver and team (except the other driver) before the drivers were weighed for fear that the team might slip weights in the drivers pockets!! (but yeah those are just knee pads)

Why would an F1 driver need pockets? It'd be pretty silly I'd think. However, there used to be the worry that one of the team members would slip him an extra heavy helmet before the weighing.

Those things on the legs are very popular by the Fins. Mika started to wear them in the early 2000's. Then Kimi began to wear them and now Heikki. I think there are others too who wear them. It's indeed a knee protection to avoid the knees are hitting each other constantly.

Where is Gary putting his left hand?

But anyway we're saying the same thing about weights; the level of paranoia in F1 is hilarious!

And yeah I can't wait to read Monday's timesheets! Kimi will be racing for his job  :D

You know unless the others really are buggering around then this Williams package is looking very very good. Still 0.5 away from the front but still very very good.

I don't want to jinx it but I'm really looking fwd to Australia...fingers crossed.

Some updates for FIF1

Image

VJM01 boasted McWilliams-like podvanes today :)

Besides that there's a fin right in front of the sidepod inlet, some sort of the endplates on the nosecone cameras, new ears plus some fins round the front suspension.

A drying track and lewser on fumes. The brit press are already screaming victory in a disgusting way.

For me, the highlight must be shumi, getting in a new car and driving 1 tenth from Kimi, and doing 83 laps like he never stopped training. Amazing!!

Eh...seriously you need to take a chill pill. It's not like the press haven't been wincing at Ferrari's speed...It's good to see all the cars are pretty damn close, as this will make for a better season.

FIF1 showed a good turn of pace deffo can see them picking off any weak manufacturers this year...both Honda and Toyota could be in for a shock...
