I never noticed how high the cutouts were on the edge of the floor in front of the rear wheel.

It seems Ferrari, at least in the barge board area, appears to be taking a very organic-looking approach to much of the aero compared to the sharp and jagged edges the Mercedes features. The Ferrari has rounded corners and elliptical looking aero devices all over. Appearances are of course deceiving, but it appears is a dramatically different approach than others.

T-tray stay looks quite thick. Shock absorber in there?

Also, an guesses as to what those black streaks are on the plank? They seem to begin uniformly where two of the plank boards meet.

Edit- The streaks on the rear section of the plank may be from track use. The front section is clean because it has been replaced. The rear section probably rarely if ever contacts the track so it might get replaced less often.

Edit- The T-tray stay appears to be a sleeved. A sliding joint within is my guess. Some sort of shock absorber for riding on the plank. Zoomed image:

Does it look like there's a hole on the bottom of the t-tray leading into the support strut? Probably an illusion but...

That can't be helping the airflow. Presumably the design assumes that these items are fairly rigid. I wonder if they'd get more pace if it were rigid rather than "flappy".
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
