The new regs seem to be a dud so far....tyres too durable....wings too wide...DRS not effective even on the back straight.....no real chance for alternate strat....
imo they need to take 1 of those factors out.....
perhaps reintroduce refueling to spice up the strats?
What?! Did we watch the same race?

Good stuff plenty of overtakes, damn I hate being right all the time, especially with so many egos that think they know better too much clashing.

Great race between the Red Bull guys, great job from Seb to get past, flawless race from Hamilton he deserved that win.

We have a real battle for the title, Ham and Vet are tied, bring on Bahrain!

Heartbreak for Alonso, the Honda upgrades can't come soon enough, the Mclaren chassis is good but fragile, there's definite potential in that car.

Rookies driving like rookies, pay drivers driving like pay drivers(Palmer).

Hamilton and Vettel' pace was in entirely different league today. Bottas and Rai weren't even close.

Good race, some really nice overtakes, especially Grosjean in T1, just robbed the guy.

Ves with another idiotic move after braking, he´ll have to learn the hard way i guess.

Top 3 teams with a perfect spread of the top 6.
Mercedes-Ferrari-Red Bull-Red Bull-Ferrari-Mercedes. Red Bull being the surprise of the weekend which I'm rather thankful for.

Red Bull clearly have improvements in them too.

2 weeks ago Vettel didn't win it, Mercedes lost it.
We can all put this kind of spin on it if we want.

I've been saying since testing, the winner will be the one that makes the least mistakes, it's really close.

Definitely, but Ferrari should take point out of this race. You shouldn't use all tires in FPs if there is no need, because Vettel was on old soft at the end. The Safety Car was an unfortunate (sometime --- happens)!!!

Agreed and what is best is that Red Bull seem to be closer than we were led to believe.

Red Bull is still running the old MGU, which is down on power compared to the new MGU AND IMPORTANTLY, 5-6 kg heavier. They still have a vanilla car, with respect to Aero. On a track like China with one of the longest straight if they manage such performance, it should give them confidence to improve as the season progresses.

DRS zones will need to get bigger indeed.

The Ferrari pit call wasn't a bad one, unfortunately for them Giovinazzi screwed their plans.
I think Hamilton had a little bit of an edge today anyways.
