BMW have a similar development going too, except their entire set up has been quite a bit more chaotic. Does anyone else think that the horns on the front of the car are just the BMW guys way of getting the effects of a bridge wing without having one? I think they might revert to a normal bridge wing in the end if they're not on pace at Melbourne and Malaysia.

The bridge section now looks like the new McLaren one, only with less smooth transition.

Well at least it's evident that they are trying to do something different down the centre than at the sides.

Thanks for the update Manchild, excellent picture. For me really interesting is not the bridge above the main profile but the one below; and the treatment of the flip ups ahead of the rear wheels, particularly the detailing of the white one.

An onboard camera shot during the Australian GP shows a removable panel on top of the front wing mainplane. Clearly it's how they adjust the ballast.

With so many changes in Renault's aero package.
The car is slower than the Ferraris and Mclarens. What could be the reason? Engine? Gear Ratios? or something else?

I would love to see the R28 winning races. [-o<

They used the older front wing by the way.

The panel I mentioned is in this area, about 15cm wide and held in place with very visible screws.
