Haas VF-17 Ferrari

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Very nice details on the car, team is showing confidence in their aero design.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Haas have two subtle FW variations, the cascade winglets have different mounts and the vane is longer

Re: Haas VF-17 Ferrari

I`d never noticed before but the front and rear brake cooling/fins on the Haas are exactly the same as the Ferrari so you`d think that both teams would have [potentially] had issues. It seems from the article that Ferrari took a job lot of Brembos before the Honeywell split and Haas have had to make do with inferior produced [quality wise] discs!
The article seems to suggest that any brake issues should now be sorted, that, along with the upgraded engine should make Haas a real contender for best of the rest...
