Pretty much everything new for Mercedes in terms of power units.

Ferrari rumored to bring a new ICE tommorow.
that doesn't make sense. why would they run new ICE on FP3?
They are saving some mileage by not running it on friday.

turbof1 sincerely I'm not that much upset by iotar_, although I'm Italian I'm not overly fond of us; but how can "tin foil sombrero" be offensive and comments by GPR-A some times ago (re Ferrari I think, "typical lazy Italians") and iotar_ (the gearbox must be Italian) not? Almost every country has its stereotypes I give you that, but these guys have no respect whatsoever

If you, or anybody else, ever see stereotypical comments, hit the report button. Race threads tend to quickly grow by pages between checking and we are bound to miss it. By reporting the violating post, the moderator team can pick up on it and will take action.

Regardless, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll check it out. For the record: being stereotypical, discriminating, demeaning,... is not allowed!

Kimi on his last lap was only 2/10th off but he was pushing so hard that he ended up leaving the track.

Am I the only one who finds that a major concern?
Kimi did 1.18 in testing on SS. Even if they are running hard tyres, both Ferrari and Merc don't seem to be showing their real pace.

Can you blame him? If a nat farts to close to the car, it breaks down.
Oh I don't blame him at all. However one could say that he has walked into this problem after he 'managed' his exit from Ferrari.
No one on this planed could have expected such a disaster.
True but it was his choice to walk out of a red car and into this disaster. Yes it wasn't expected but his decision has bitten him in the bum.

That's fine but if both aren't showing their real pace and Mercedes are still a second faster then I at least am worried.

True but Mercedes has a lot of new part to test. Maybe they are running a little bit faster than usual.

True but my concern is that those raft of parts has given them a huge step forward by fixing plenty of their problems

A driver leaving the track and playing tennis during a session isn't normal at all. It looks like Alonso just doesn't give a stuff anymore.

He's making a point isn't he, its a silent message to Honda, McLaren and the world :)

seems that teams are struggling with grip. Especially in the last sector coming to chicane

Well to be honest I don't feel you can make these "points" and still expect some kind of team spirit. Bored millionaires are not what McLaren need right now.

Are the two Ferrari drivers using different configuration or are they using the same?
