I don't know, depends on the circuit; hopefully we can at least put to bed the myth that S3 in Barcelona is indicative of Monaco - it's really very different.

Pretty sure Lewis will start on the ss, box on lap one and use the clear track and ultras until the end or do the reverse on tyres.

Kimi on his first pole of the year and since 2008 . Vettel second and bottas third... that lap was mighty from kimi.... bottas was close .045 slower

What a flop by Hamilton. He got slower and slower as the session progressed. I wonder whether the car had a problem.

Top job by Kimi & Bottas. Bottas' lap shows Hamilton missed a huge opportunity here.

Vettel will be disappointed that he didn't get pole.

Ferrari get a front row lockout- 2nd one of the season vs the supposedly invincible Mercedes... but of course they're a joke...
