Pleasing the Ferrari for next year's contract may be? He seriously costed a whole lot of points for the team. He did not played for the team and I guess he has set a bad precedence that when later in the season Ocon ends up in front of him and slower, might he just continue to do what Perez did today. Feel sad for Force India.
Perez really screwed his team and teammate. (Not that it should matter to him, but Perez also screwed the fans by depriving us of an Ocon-Ricciardo battle for 3rd.) While obviously no one can say for sure what the outcome would have been, he definitely cost his team the opportunity for the best result. I know he is a racer and all that, but when the team gives an order, especially when teammates are on divergent strategies, AND says that he can have the position back if it doesn't work out really makes Perez looked like an idiot and an arse....

Raikkonen clouted the wall at the exit of turn 7 at the beginning of the race. I suspect it might've had something to do with his sub par pace. But then again, if it wasn't, no one would be surprised.
