Have you ever driven a High powered car ??? if you have you know you must hold both hands on the steering wheel or it could snap left or right...and how do you know he changed gears ???
Sure it wasn't the nicest thing to do but ham is entitled to set the pace of the pack and vet is required to follow. Considering that they've raced for 10 years vet should know what his antics are and at the very least be cognisant of it. Vet's response if proven true is worse than Schumacher in 97 because it was premeditated and not as instinctivefabian77 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2017, 17:30Yes because I have live Mercedes Telemetry on my computer
As said it was shown on a replay on tv but as always Sky jumps to Lewis' defense as he never does anything wrong.
39.13 When the clerk of the course decides it is safe to call in the safety car the message "SAFETY
CAR IN THIS LAP" will be sent to all teams via the official messaging system and the car's
orange lights will be extinguished. This will be the signal to the teams and drivers that it will be
entering the pit lane at the end of that lap.
At this point the first car in line behind the safety car may dictate the pace and, if necessary,
fall more than ten car lengths behind it.
In order to avoid the likelihood of accidents before the safety car returns to the pits, from the
point at which the lights on the car are turned out drivers must proceed at a pace which
involves no erratic acceleration or braking nor any other manoeuvre which is likely to
endanger other drivers or impede the restart.
As the safety car is approaching the pit entry the yellow flags and SC boards will be withdrawn
and, other than on the last lap of the race, replaced by waved green flags with green lights at
the Line. These will be displayed until the last car crosses the Line.
Uhhh..vet has been driving an f1 car for 10 years and he's had plenty of times when he made a one hand on the wheel gesture at even faster speeds. Sorry but your apologist defence does not excuse his intent.fabian77 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2017, 17:34Have you ever driven a High powered car ??? if you have you know you must hold both hands on the steering wheel or it could snap left or right...and how do you know he changed gears ???
So why didn't Hamilton snap in to the barrier when he was driving one handed holding his head rest down?fabian77 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2017, 17:34Have you ever driven a High powered car ??? if you have you know you must hold both hands on the steering wheel or it could snap left or right...and how do you know he changed gears ???
It seems that the driving of HAM wasn't exactly the same dictated by this rule. I am wrong?Diesel wrote: ↑25 Jun 2017, 17:3639.13 When the clerk of the course decides it is safe to call in the safety car the message "SAFETY

Im not apologising his actions he deserved the penalty, it was stupidity and cost him the win, but your over reaction comparing Vettel to Schumi 97 Jerez is hilarious.cplchanb wrote: ↑25 Jun 2017, 17:36Uhhh..vet has been driving an f1 car for 10 years and he's had plenty of times when he made a one hand on the wheel gesture at even faster speeds. He wasnt on power, plus they were behind safety car. He had 1 hand on the wheel and was looking at th car he hit. How can it be an accident.fabian77 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2017, 17:34Have you ever driven a High powered car ??? if you have you know you must hold both hands on the steering wheel or it could snap left or right...and how do you know he changed gears ???
