Sebastian Vettel has escaped further penalties for his clash with Lewis Hamilton at the most recent Azerbaijani Grand Prix. The German Ferrari driver met with the FIA today in Paris, and admitted full responsibility for the events that occurred.

No, don't confuse reference point, perspective, opinions, whatever you want to call it... with set rules and facts. That's the problem with on line discussions that go 60 some odd pages. Some people think their opinions should be weighted equally to the facts. More bewildering still, people when presented with facts challenging their statements, double down on their misinformed opinion or worse, move the goal post. Everyone knows the how the process works.

What exactly is your point of reference?
Why would you want to involve an entire country and it's people and pass such a generalised statement? I support Sebastian, but I'm not blind to his errors or in this case sheer stupidity and arrogance. But, I do feel his disqualification from the GP is warranted. It has nothing to do with where Hamilton finished or the WDC or the WCC. I'm simply isolating the particular error he made and if our governing body or race control did the same, the decision making wouldn't be so difficult and prolonged. Who knows?
