Ferrari not using Kimi to help seb now ??
He's got literally nothing to lose. Same situation as Bottas in spain.
I know , but people bang on about how Kimi is never used to help Seb.
Although every lap he stayed out, he lost time to Lewis. The guy he was racing.

Vandoorne gets a drive through, for not getting out of the way fast enough?! How harsh is that! Same penalty as Kvyat got for eliminating 2 guys out of the race. Yet, Perez didn't get any penalty, while clearly holding up Bottas.

What a joke this is!

He wasn't losing anything in the grand scheme. Hamilton jumped him in his outlap already, and it was over at that point.

And now there is a chance Kimi will use his tyres up closing the gap and have nothing left when he gets there.

Im fine with the using drivera to help the team. It just needs the Vettel brigade to accept that he is being helped a lot and often by Kimi

@Juzh

Given the pace Hamilton is driving now, one could argue otherwise. If Kimi had been racing Hamilton from the start, he maybe would have a chance of taking back that position with the "better tire" for the longer stint.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Overtaking a mercedes on a power track... yeah, no. Rai was like 0.2s quicker over the last few laps, which is nowhere near enough.

Easy to argue. If the car isn't working on that tire, it changes the equation. Kimi is 5 tenths quicker than Hamilton currently. Imagine if they had kept Kimi out less long, he'd be right on Lewis's tale now.

PS: I am not arguing Ferrari didn't do the right thing. Just calling it out. If you are going to use one of your drivers as a pawn, there's a price you may end up paying for it.

Careful Phil, Seb fans wont agree on Kimi being used as a pawn.

True Nathan.

Anyway, looks like the car is coming back to Hamilton. Fastest race lap. He may eat Ricciardo for 3rd. 11 laps to go.

They didn't ask him on the radio so it didn't happen. :mrgreen:

Hopefully Phil. Looks like Danny has the pace to hold him off though. You need at least 1second a lap to be able to pass without too much trouble. Currently only 1 tenth in hams favour. What happened to the rain??
