If you don't mind to get old blueprints, you can start here:

You'll get a technical description and/or blueprints for a bunch of cars since 1901 to 1964, more or less. These are jpg images, so you'll need to google for software to digitalize them. There was a thread here on a similar subject and finally a program for digitalizing was posted that apparently did the trick very well. This is an example of what you'll get:
At the RaceSim site you will find many car models, in detail, suspension and all.
