Mclaren really getting desperate adding a very expensive bonus for the Championship. What if Heikki wins does he get one as well? That would be a nice gift a $4 Million dollar Mclaren.

Ron Dennis has now promised Hamilton that if he wins the world championship this year – and locks up the constructors' title together with teammate Heikki Kovalainen – the car will be his. Not a bad bonus.

Wait a minute now! All we know is that, according to a tabloid "newspaper" - The Sun - Lewis has been offered a McLaren LM if he wins the title. What we do NOT know, is if Heikki has ALSO been offered the same present if HE wins the title. We have NOT heard Ron Dennis say "Lewis will get one but Heikki won't, and besides Heikki won't be allowed to win the championship anyway", have we?!

Maybe Heikki prefers 4M cash ? Maybe the car offer was already included in Heikki's contract and Lewis found out? Maybe Heikki would just be satisfied with a WDC? It's possible, perhaps not this year, over the next few years, especially in a good car such as the McLaren.

It's a nice rumour, and it makes a great topic at the pub. I wouldn't add more value to this at this time, but we might see at the end of the season (I doubt it though as I'm not convinced of Hamilton's chances thus far).

All we know at the moment is that Hamilton saw the McLaren F1 LM in the factory 10 years ago and he wanted one. And now he declared to the Sun that he will get one if he brings home the Championship.

Let's put the emphasis on the IF. If he wins the championship. I really doubt it...
