nothing silly about engines with individual air intake per chamber
quad-turbo 4-cylinder? sure, why not
8-supercharged engines never seen ,but there is this pearl
it's possible - but the biggest question is, is there any benefit.
supercharged engines dont benefit really from a supercharger per cylinder - due to the way it works and is constructed.
likewise turbo's theoretically impose a benefit BUT the additional effort there don't weigh up to simply using one - or two - for the same job.
if you can reach the same with just 1, no need for more, especially if bringing in more would only degrade usability, increase weight (biggest concern), complicate things, and hamper reliabilty.
google is your friend. i literally googled the above and tadaaa.
