Renault Sport Racing and McLaren Racing are pleased to announce they have agreed an engine supply partnership for the 2018, 2019 and 2020 seasons. The deal will see Renault Sport Racing supply McLaren with Formula 1 power units, while also establishing a close working relationship with McLaren’s engineers and technicians.

Why bother going for a sub 2 second pit stop for all your hard work to be undone in one straight.

I bet he was intentionally easing off on the straights, only to be able to rant about Honda. And on top pf that Alonso decided to retire...was he even pushing the whole race? or trying to make a point to honda?
Intentionally eased off on the straights? lol I'm going to make sure you remember this for a long time. Regardless of the engine being exposed here as they all knew would happen, it's disgraceful sportsmanship. All the fans who went to see him race, I feel like I should apologise on behalf of of him. His tantrums are just as unbearable as the engine at times. Who knows what could of happened if he stuck it out with that safety car.
