Who's down playing what Hamilton has done? He has overcome the difficulties of the rain and put in a brilliant lap. Actually I think it shows Hamilton's brilliance this weekend.
Always find the gap then use it.

Paralysis by analysis.

Keep them in the cars and ready to go. Cars will clear the water much better than gravity, drivers just have to hold back until the grip improves.

What a joke. In 2008 conditions were much worse than this, they continued regardless. I hate F1's current view towards rain.. drivers have become such pussy's compared to the heroes in the old days. Schumacher and Senna would destroy this entire field under these conditions.
I have to say Hamilton is always on the radio telling Charlie to start the race/session. I think thereare a couple out there today who could be classed as "Men" of the past
Hamilton is for sure one of the few drivers with balls. Verstappen too. Drivers like Grosjean and Kvyat are an embarassment for F1.

I volunteered for a crappier shift to watch this. At this rate I may not have bothered as I start at 5PM GMT.

You could have known when rain was predicted. Sadly this is modern F1 everytime there are rain drops.

F1 is becoming a joke, why do they have to wait until it is bone dry to allow them back on track, bunch of nancys. Why dont F1 invest in some trucks jet engines on the sides to blow dry a race track like they do in indycars ??

I have to let them know at least a week in advance.

FFS. another15 min... its time the FIA chucks out the old furniture. Or its time for the FIA to become obsolete...

Last year full wets could do 65 liters per second.
This year they are bigger with a bigger contact patch ... so could do what?

The FIA wants road car relevance, so let them them drive in mixed conditions...

Pirelli tweeted (after Grosjean´s crash) that they can clear 65 l/sec at full speed (300km/h). It appears that even Pirelli doesn't know or they live in the past. 65 sounds like a nice number, I guess.
