I think it was a very interesting qualifying that was done in the rain with a dry race setup. Car control reigned supreme, I have to concede it was Hamilton this time.
Always find the gap then use it.

If Vettel restricts the damage to 7 points by finishing 2nd, assuming Hamilton is 1st, it would be a great result in the context of the remainder of the season.

We've seen some really chaotic starts here though. I'm sure the ultimate priority for everyone would be emerging from the first chicane unscathed.

He was very impressive, so where Max & Dan, both did an incredible job to grab P2/P3 with the massive power deficit they have.

PS, I was very impressed by Stroll too, he's really gone from Zero to Hero in the best possible way lately.

Gross exaggeration! No reason in the world is justifiable for that horrendous delay. It's the consequence of an incompetent race director and a sh!t tyre supplier.
Maybe if the results had been different? I went off back to bed, had great time with the missus and came back for a pretty exciting Q2 and Q3 sessions. It's all about perspective. 8)

So more penalties. Exactly what is the point of qualifying again?

I said it should be re-named 'formula dry weather only'. Well scratch that it needs to be 'formula penalties'

This is going to be an easy victory for Lewis and maybe a 1-2 for Mercedes but lets see what Sebastian can do.

IMHO, regardless where Vettel finishes, it will still be a close championship with Singapore coming up...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Mercedes voluntarily give up 0.3l oil. Ferrari still miles away.
Opps.

What the hell happens when they bring in their new 0.9l engine now?

How is it that Palmer isn't just told to give the place back?? 5 second penalty when he's already 4 seconds up the road??

Agree with Alonso, it's a joke!!

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

That 5 second penalty is a joke. Palmer is still 1 place ahead. He should be told to just give it back.
