My bad, he was already ahead and you can see he was complaining about having no grip on rear despite his engineer informing him the tyres are in peak temperature, Kimi said in post race interview that he nearly spun 3-4 times as he had no grip on rear and lost place to Bottas then Vettel.evered7 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2017, 16:24He got Bottas at the start but lost it at the end of the lap. He was behind Stroll all the while till the pits where a slow Williams pitstop got him the place. He overtook Ocon after following him around for 4 laps.Silent Storm wrote: ↑03 Sep 2017, 16:13He had overtaken Stroll and then lost the place to Stroll after a couple of laps because there were some issues with his car.
I don't think he got Stroll in the first stint at all. He has a worse record in Singapore. Should be frustrating for Ferrari with the second car.
It's frustrating that Ferrari can't give Vettel a fast car, this has gone from Vet vs Ham to Mercedes vs Ferrari now because these two drivers are just too consistent and the one with a faster car will win.
