Probably most relevant to the Aussies in here, the Todd Hazelwood crash at, i think, turn 6.
The lack of gravel traps where there is green grass is hard to understand in this day and age.
Sandown was a goat track when i first went there in the late 70's and it hasn't changed much.
It could have been a nasty result, thankfully it wasn't.
It wasn't discussed by commentators of the day either, which is surprising to me.
