Can Vettel change the engine more than once before tomorrow? (If he switches specs around) Bank the penalties but have some extra bang for the last few races!

Edit: what he said^^^ but multiple times

You cant do that anymore. They can install a new PU and he'll have that one available among the original 4 available.

I think you could only add components to your pool if you run them for at least 1 lap. He cant do that until the race tomorrow. So only 1 extra of everything

If I have understood this year rules correctly, they can change components, but from the 5th onwards they can continue to use only the last components used in a GP so if they introduce the 5th ICe, 5th Tc, etc the ones which are on the car now cannot be used again.
So in any case the 5th TC should be better than the used 3rd one which is on the car.
In any case Ferrari should work better on the reliability of the engine.

Vettel on SS that seems telling.

Edit.. Nope He's done and maybe so is the championship unfortunately.
It sucks because we lose a good fight for the pole and if Lewis wins the Championship will be almost over.

So much drama in Ferraris garage...poor mechanics

Thats what you get when you run a new ICE with an old Turbo i guess. Turbo life was always on the limit and they pushed it a little too far. At least they gave it a go.

I believe he can do everything to spec 5 and take penalties, but he cannot do spec 6 spec 7 and spec 8 the same weekend. That's what Mclaren did last year and it's been closed by rules in 2017.

True. Unfortunately is was so predictable. Taking the 5 place penalty would have been better.

I think Mercedes were the first to take advantage of that fairly obvious abuse of the rules but yes, definitely no longer an option this year.

you mean 10? well its easy to talk now. if they took penalty they would anyway finish behind Hamilton. nah 2017 so long.

Should've taken the turbo penalty and started 11th, we've known its an old turbo for ages, silly risk to take using an old one when they're already 28 points behind. Assuming the turbo is the issue of course.

Hi opinion, i think he's trying to say Vettel doesn't deserve the title with the way he has driven this year.
