Thats what you get when you run a new ICE with an old Turbo i guess. Turbo life was always on the limit and they pushed it a little too far. At least they gave it a go.
True. Unfortunately is was so predictable. Taking the 5 place penalty would have been better.
you mean 10? well its easy to talk now. if they took penalty they would anyway finish behind Hamilton. nah 2017 so long.
Yes 10. Still it was obvious those Turbos were very long in the tooth. Plenty on here had said over send over again that a engine penalty was ALWAYS going to happen. Ferrari were very quick here and with a new more powerful ICE and Mercedes struggling? Could very well finished ahead of Ham in the race even with it.

Vettel's saga continues. Its like karma.

...But Gasly? His just beaten Sainz in Q1! Never driven an F1 car before.
Classy post!
Hi opinion, i think he's trying to say Vettel doesn't deserve the title with the way he has driven this year.
was just waiting for someone to pull the trigger.

Alonso would have been 11th if all the top guys were in Q2.

Always find the gap then use it.

Did better than ham for sure, tho. The Merc is just that more capable compared to Ferrari

 Hardly a surprise - when it comes to Q3 Mercedes throw more oil at it.

it would have been nice to see Van and Alo to push for the last try on Quali to see the actual real performance in comparation to others.
