I didn't know Ferrari was making a hommage to Japan by using a Honda PU. Interesting.
I REALLY shouldn't laugh but...

So they had to euthanase a championship that's been dead for a while. So disappointing.

Always find the gap then use it.

Let’s root for an Ocon podium shall we?

I doubt it happens though.

Looking forward to Phils prediction on how Vettel will win the title now.
:-/

I am lost for words. I didnt imagine Ferrari could face these type of reliability issues. Not like this. How is it even possible that a car that ran so well in qf sudddenly develops an issue during during parc ferme?

This is substantial and deciding for the WDC.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Must be hard for Ferrari to take. Especially after Arrivabene's quotes of people being moved around because of mistakes. And then this happens. Not a good time for them

Add to that, a grid penalty for next race?

Depends if the engine was damaged or not - if they can fix it (which seems likely), then they've actually got 2 engines with 3 races of range on each, for only 4 races.

Vettel should move for once out of his comfort zone and take a piss with the mechanics now. This is just the shittiest moment for him in years.

Thumbs up for him tho for weaving at the fans and greeting the team.

Oh and he can get another free gearbox now.

Mercedes just had a bad start to the season, which made everybody believe Ferrari had a chance. Look at the pole lap here, 0,5s faster and people are still believing in it...
