I've read on Twitter that some genius at sky UK made some harsh comments about vettel, and britta roeske bursted into tears.. Well done guys
Will Buxton says him and Tom Clarkson were the only British press in the pen at the time and it was not true - he even posted a pic of him with Britta a bit later.

Don;t get me wrong, I'm no fan of Sky, but it does seem like someone is just spreading rumours for the sake of it.
Looks like it was true, lots of different reports of it, Will Buxton just wasn't there apparently.

Ifs and buts.. Its a shame but Ferrari was off the pace today: Kimi was in clean air and slower than Bottas. Anyway, the red haze.. well done HAM! Yellow cards for ALO and MAS for arrogance.

Another too easy WDC for Mercedes, hum, Hamilton.
Too easy?? They were pushed very hard. Its just they pushed Ferrari beyond the breaking limit
+1

People forget that speed and reliablility go hand in hand, and that sometimes teams go more on engine life to be faster in races. How do we know that Ferrari went that way whole season and looked fast. Maybe Ferrari would be 3rd best car if they used their pu at the limit of 4 per season like Mercedes? Mercedes probably goes full power only in Q3 and in some races like Hamilton in SPA after restart or Bottases lap in Azerbaijan and then its at least half a second a lap difference betwen second best car.

Absolutely ludicrous statements.

On pure pace, we can sure agree Vettel would have had around 60 additional points from the last three races (I personally estimate 2 wins and 1 second place - so 68 points) and therefore would have been right with if not ahead of Hamilton (who would have likely scored fewer points) .
Even assuming Vettel would have won and scored as you suggested does not mean that Hamilton wouldnt have scored any points at all - e.g. to balance out a 59 point advantage. They’d be closer yes, but Hamilton would still be leading.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

I'm not sure why you're so intent on denying anything happened :wtf: Anyway, all Will Buxton was claiming is that it wasn't the British press, but there was definitely an incident with the press, and Britta was quite upset by it.

Not at all trying to deny that there was an indecent, just that what did happen seemed pretty civilised and not what was originally reported.

- Another edge of the seat one-stopper and another '17 Ham-Vett classic. Not even crash after the race to have something to talk about.

- Sainz is still not capable of simplest things aka driving on his own. Renault are the masters of making every bad choice starting with the drivers.
- Force India are still in full protection mode of chosen by Wolff mediocrity: Ocon.
- For the naive: instead of thee way battle - Bottas helping Hamilton.

Alonso given penalty points for ignoring blue flags and not allowing Hamilton to pass for over a lap.

Maybe the vibrations on the PU are from the setting they used to let Rosberg win and they forgot to take it off.
It's more probable that Champ knew what which button does....

Its not a long shot to imagine Max vying with Lewis for the WDC next season. All Red Bull needs is a decent engine.
My thoughts entirely while watching the race. I like Ricciardo, I really do. But Verstappen is quick, aggressive and has good racecraft. The only thing that would hurt him is the thing he's done best this year. Race like he's got nothing to lose.

Great point this. Can that young man NOT take risks currently if a chance appears?

I will say that I hope to hell that Renault get that magic qualifying sorted for 2018.

I'll just leave this here. Bearing in mind we have no idea how good that McLaren chassis is.
Hamilton at Mercedes (Mercedes power).
Vettel at Ferrari (Ferrari power).
Verstappen at RedBull (Renault power)
Alonso at McLaren (Renault power)
2018 could he rocking.
