What annoys me is the inconsistency, sometimes they are super anal about it... this weekend however is everything goes, don't even bother... and drivers are of course taking this to extremes.Artur Craft wrote: ↑21 Oct 2017, 21:00Have you got annoyed by it just now? I mean, it's has been very rare when Charlie Whiting bottered to enforce tracklimits. They have all been getting away with it for at least some 6 years. I remember many poles with drivers going off the track and nothing happened.....
It had never happened this season at all, that either Merc or Ferrari interrupting the qualifying laps of each other. This is the first time and they really were sour. On first run, it was Force India and on second, it was Kimi. That seriously sucked. Everything seemed intended. All qualifying, up until the last lap, Kimi was doing better than Vettel and it seems like the exercise to spoil Lewis' lap, costed Kimi.
It must hurt so after such high hopes. :headpat:giantfan10 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2017, 00:05the team thats allowed to burn more oil as fuel than the rest of the competition finishes first in qualifying... call me unimpressed
What means interfered? Didnt go outside the track so that Mercs can have nice prep lap? Thats just how it goes and how you judge traffic. They are generally first out so they dont have to deal with it...
Because it's an official session ? If it was private testing, then it would be a different matter..

I don't think even that is out of reach - though it'll take a fair amount of luck to have a competitive car in every remaining season he's in F1.
I think you will find that the high winds severely hampered all the teams.godlameroso wrote: ↑22 Oct 2017, 02:35I'm a little underwhelmed as far as how fast the cars are around here. I was expecting more, but less than 2 seconds improvement. Hell Alonso wasn't even able to beat last year's pole with a 2017 car that has a full season of development.
