I can only guess that Ferrari felt they wouldnt get to the end. So better to cover Max then fall back later....

But this may cost Vettel 2nd... if Max gets past, it might even mean a catastrophic result for Vettel...?

He would of passed them before the end. Watch Vettel and verstappen have a good chance of getting the podium..

If they left vettel out he would have struggled to finish 2nd. He only had a couple of seconds ahead of kimi and bot. And when max pitted , ferrari had to pit vet to cover max off

Vettel will be second, no doubt. Bottas won't be able to defend on his tyres. Kimi will let Seb by in to second. The question is: who will be third?

I posted just after max and Vettel pitted it would of covered their strategy and have fresher tyres. What if Lewis hits the cliff or they go bang..
