2015, 2016 and 2017 were all different architectures.

Considering that the engine would shake the car into pieces, I think it would be better classified as a stone crusher

I would guess that while the thinner air has an effect on aerodynamics and cooling, it's effects shouldn't be that great on turbocharged engines.

It's possible, but I think it's more down to the aggressive development McLaren have been doing over the last few races in preparation for 2018. The new front wing and bargeboards have given them a sizable step forward. It bodes well for next season, as their factory to track correlation seems bang on.

Just opposite: thin air means less compression, less air in ICE, less power, less efficiency. This will affect more the worst engine.

If this is true, this means that the McLaren chassis has been mediocre until now, and has been masking the actual Honda power.

There's no limit on boost pressure.

There will be slightly lower efficiency as the compressor is going to be working slightly harder (causing higher intake temps) but the ICE power should be only marginally impacted by the altitude as opposed to an NA engine which would be somewhat short of breath.

Thanks! So he's losing around 0.4 in the first and last sector while middle sector is almost as fast as Hamilton. Just wanted to make sure

Is that part needs mechanical grip or aero?

Sector 3 is the short straight after the esses, and through the stadium to the finish line. You need braking stability and mechanical grip to launch out of the low speed stuff.
