in RICs defence, he is getting the engine penalty, would you push to the limit knowing you start 10 places down, and a midst that lot, does that 1 place matter? he will start on the soft btw, the only one actually, so things might be interesting near the end, if renault doesnt fail again...
Yes they can, those spec 4 engines have been going since Spa and Lewis probably had it turned to 11 in the last race after turn 1 and the burnouts at the end wouldn't have helped the gearbox either, so why not have a fresh car in beast mode for just 2 racesShrieker wrote: ↑11 Nov 2017, 19:26It was a really good battle between Bottas and the Ferraris. Can Mercedes change everything on Hamilton's car (all pu internals - battery packs, icu, turbo, control elec. etc.), plus gearbox ? I mean... they surely can't go lower than last. But are they actually allowed to (don't know the rule exactly)?
Sure they can, Vettel did in Malaysia.Shrieker wrote: ↑11 Nov 2017, 19:26It was a really good battle between Bottas and the Ferraris. On the edge stuff.
