As the 2017 year and season is done and dusted, here's one for this season.
I'm really fond of Alonso's non-F1 helmets, and his Daytona helmet looks really cool
let's hope he'll use this helmet design too for the 2018 F1 season
It's called simplicity. Look back at the likes of Graham and Damon Hill, David Coulthard and of course Ayrton Senna amongst many others and you'll see equally simplistic designs that are considered classics these days.

It could be argued that the second point of the helmet is for the driver to express some personality. The helmet paint isn't for us, it's for them.
