perhaps time to close the 2017 threads.

Why close this threat? Soon there will probably be some interesting information coming out concerning the cooperation of Honda with McLaren.

Yet again the thread goes waaaayy off topic ! Look at the title of the thread. It is about the team in 2017. Discussing what Alonso , Lando, VanDoorne will score in 2018 has no relevance.

Not sure what you were discussing but I was discussing how I will measure if the move from Honda to Renault was a success. I think that's relevant to this thread

it's called living in the past and it adds nothing. there's always the general honda thread for that.

With the Amazon Doco series coming this thread has life in it yet. Another 20 or so pages is my guess.

General Honda F1

The Mclaren Honda thread will close sooner or later. Another special thread was created so that people could freely debate about Mclaren vs. Honda vs. TR.
Although the title says "General Honda F1", it's not just for Honda fans, it was also created for Mclaren fans.

Personally I would rather see this thread closed. It was just nasty all the way through. Honda fanboys have STR to go delusional with.

As for the Grand Prix Driver documentary I saw it as something that was made to make Honda look bad, which they were/are, but the doc wasn't really needed and I'm not happy about McLaren making it. It did nothing for me as a McLaren fan.
