According to Brazilian website Grande Prêmio, Petrobras has signed a deal with McLaren to supply fuel from 2019 onwards.

The fuel will be jointly developed during 2018 by McLaren and Petrobras. This deal doesn't include the hiring of any brazilian driver. It will be officially announced tomorrow.

Also interesting to note that the brazilian driver Sergio Sette-Câmara is driving alongside McLaren's reserve driver Lando Norris in this year's F2 season. Sergio has been sponsored by Petrobras in the past.

Interesting news, lets see if the Petrobras deal is finally a reality or no, but this is the strongest evidence so far.

The Chrome Surroundings and the Orange Stripe are different.

So last year they had a chrome and grey truck carrying an orange, white and black car. Can we deduce then that the 2018 car won’t have a shred of orange on it?

Great news, wondering if they will be using BP Castrol fuel that's being rebadged to Petrobras this year.

Although I love the old liveries, old cars and vintage I don't like retro. It feels fake.
To me McLaren should be hi-tech and so it should look.

This is purely for the fans, they asked for it, and now they're getting it. I don't mind it at all, but I do agree with the hi-tech image that McLaren have/had, and this not really fitting it. I don't think they're ever lose that cutting-edge feel though, and they're recent promotion material backs that, it's been really good.

I wondered if it was blue too at first, but the mirrors are definitely black. I think the blue comes from the spotlight reflection.

Damn what a trailer. Can't say McLaren doesn't know how to build up hype. I just hope the actual car lives up to it!
