The sidepod inlet now looks normal(mercedes style ;) ) but why is the exit at the rear so high?

I dont think the exit at the rear is so high. It just looking that way because of the sunlight and shadow from the cover thats been blown up by the wind. The shape of the bodywork looks like i swoops up, but its just the sunlight following the shape of the black cover up above the car.

exactly, i used exact same curve on both pictures, so i think its very similar, the light that maybe plays tricks, where there might be slight difference is more squared sidepod intake and maybe a bit more undercut in widest place of the sidepod to fully use that potential squared inlet, a bit like ferrari, this is showed by the green line, but again its the shadow from the picture showing, so can be the light --- with me

Think that might be the MCL32, looks like Alonso's 17 lid.

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

The cooling exit does indeed look much shorter and angled upwards, I wouldn’t say it’s just the lighting.

I really hope they've found some loophole that's allowed them a second rear wing. Maybe a testing arrangement?

That double rear wing will be something crazy, and the body work on the sides looks radical too. I'm officialy over excited now xD

that looks pretty 90s retro, love it. hope indeed it's actually a loophole that can stay [-o< 8)

* just a sidenote; the above wing is not from the 2018 mclaren or williams. but it does look like that from far in the garage shot.

I don't think that's the rear wing. It didn't look that high on the shots of the car under the tarpaulin. Maybe some sort of mount or stand of something though...

dude, that's a williams rear wing.

the garage shot suggests it looks like that actual williams wing.
