It looks that Renault haven't learned the leason, allowimg Carlos Sainz to race in Montecarlo Rally, hopefully is not another Kubica case

Sainz is not racing. He'll be driving one stage in the VIP course car before the actual stage begins. It's somewhat like being the safety car driver in an F1 race, only you just run once ahead of the rest of the field to check if the stage has no issues. He won't even be driving a rally car, but a Renault Megane RS with snow tyres.

So here in Aus' thats called the Course Car, not the Safety Car.

Pretty safe for someone of his ability.

Not saying he won't put his foot down, but quite safe.

Wasn't too keen on the livery in the studio shots, but looks better out on track...

I like the livery. The fact that they made it look fully yellow from the front, and fully black from the side is a neat trick.

I don't think i have seen an ugly car for 2018. I just hope they are all killer designs, and come out to be within .001s of each other...
