I don't know how true this is but I heard from sombody who worked there at the time that the term 'monkey seat' started when somebody at Force India sat a PG Tips monkey on the little wing while the car was being built. Could be complete BS, anybody heard anything else on the provanence of the name?

And here it is now, relegated to the very back of the crash structure. This is a seat fit for no monkey. Not even a marmoset could fit on that. For shame.
