Mc Laren MP4/23 aero-mech development in 2008

It seems somewhat bizarre to me that they didn't alter the radiator shape just a little bit(more) to avoid its influence on the outer aero.

It was probably cheaper than asking their radiator manufacturer to build messed up radiators.

There are not any tweaks , just a slightly different photo angle taken which gives you a wrong imression

#1 and #2 in particular.



1. The endplate has deep cut on the lower pic unlike the one above.
2. I 'hyperbolized' the difference in shapes (in cyan). Also have a look at the placement of gurneys in that area.
3. Curvature of the leading edge (near the endplate).

Oh bugger it! It's the edge of the fin extending back, the perspective change makes it look different. I feel stupid now...
