Not sure. However it's been reported that Bottas keeps going through the pits where he has been where spinning the rears everytime.probenprinz wrote: ↑06 Mar 2018, 13:02https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d6 ... 2fa71a.png

It's the soft tire (I asked Tobias Gruner why it looks white, and he said they have brightened up the photo which resulted in this )Restomaniac wrote: ↑06 Mar 2018, 13:32Not sure. Ah ok. I just find him lighting up the tyres everytime he does a pit drive through strange. Not better way to ruin a set than that.Morteza wrote: ↑06 Mar 2018, 13:36It's the soft tire (I asked Tobias Gruner why it looks white, and he said they have brightened up the photo which resulted in this )Restomaniac wrote: ↑06 Mar 2018, 13:32Not sure. According to @F1debrief he did two 10-lap stints on soft tire (I don't know if he changed the tires or not)

Usual runs are ~ 10 to teens (softer harder) (total 50-64), times go down (quicker), assumption: they change tyres. Who cares amyway? There's fuel and set up, pushing, checking limits etc.Restomaniac wrote: ↑06 Mar 2018, 13:32Not sure. No TR? Fair to assume it's close and bigger teams have bigger margins for improvements. Lack of running matters but in both directions: lost time you can't get back and different stages of programs.Amus Smedley "Nach unseren Eindrücken und Berechnungen liegen wir im guten Mittelfeld. Hinter Renault, aber dafür vor Force India und McLaren. HaasF1 sehe ich in etwa auf unserem Niveau."
Google auto translation "After our impressions and calculations, we are in good midfield, behind Renault, but ahead of Force India and McLaren, and I see HaasF1 at about our level."
Bigger chance they ffed up installation (sensors, or whatever) because they or other renault teams didn't have such a quick failure. Any overheating would have been noticeable last week.
It is, it always have been, I'm a long long time fan (since 1997) and I've seen a lot.
Theoretically Renault had focused on realiability..
