No, they just follow their own program... ITS TESTING!

There is a magical way of getting a nice laptime in testing: less fuel.
Pointing to tyre compound is, knowing that, somehow lame.

hamilton 1.21.015 on mediums, seems significant and no idea of track conditions, does all this sound right (i dont trust these live feeds)?
significant why when vettel did 1:20:xx yesterday on mediums?
nobody is pushing their car so why does every time have to have some significant meaning?

Yeah, but if you are really desperate you will do a quick lap and go back to the pits, ALO is on a 10 lap stint so far

You can do 20 laps too but what about lap times?

That is exactly what I was pointog towards: their last sting is long enough, so there is no possibility they are going for the fastest laptime, which could be easier with a harder compaund and minimum fuel.

Well if you do a ''quick'' lap with a 10 + laps of fuel on board that implies something inst it?

But they are testing too much on the softest compounds IMO.

Boullier said yesterday it's because they can get them into their operating window quicker. So they can get in with the job quicker.

I believe pre season testing does tell a lot. I guess most teams should have a pretty good idea of the pecking order so far. It's just that we don't have nearly the same capacity to interpret data that multi-million dollar F1 teams have.
Williams has already said where they think they are so I guess the rest know the same thing, just they don´t want to say it.

I believe, is due to the innovative rear suspension, to be tested with the best grip and with the biggest loads against the suspension and the tires. But that is just my guess, I have no evidence to back it up

+1. I also think is to get in temperatures quicker.
