Sebastian Vettel's stint on the softs: 1:21.7, 1:20.7, 1:20.4, 1:20.5, 1:20.6, 1:28.4, 1:20.9, 1:20.8, 1:26.0, 1:19.5, 1:26.2 and 1:19.8

The worry there is that Vettel has had to seriously nurse them both times to get a sub 1m20 out of them.
Hamilton has gone .6 faster on the harder compound.

I'm not saying it confirms anything but on the face of it it's a worry currently.

Sorry but the MR44 was on Medium tyres. They weren't development tyres.

As for the rest if it that's fine however somebody made the point that there is a connection between testing pace and final race pace. Currently Mercedes are out on their own.

Pretty much every day the fastest lap is set on the medium tyre and there are reports of several cars blistering the softs.

So seems like the mediums are actually the most suitable / useable tyres for the conditions and no surprise that they’re faster than the softs - that’s been the pattern so far.
