Rain is always a good thing though I agree with the fact that we are curious to see the real pecking order...unless this order sucks and consecuently I would start with the rain dance :D

Hahahaha, I mean if the peak order includes a 0,5-1 second advantage for Mercedes it would suck, unless you are a Mercedes die hard fan.

No offense, but why call it a masterclass as he in both years had the best car on the grid?

His team mates too!
In 2010, he qualified 11th and his team mate qualified 4th, 3 tenth behind the pole sitter. That's how best the car was!

Plus Alonso and decent car, Verstappen and a decent car, Vettel and a decent car, etc... there is a good bunch of great drivers on wet.

One of the few times I've seen him slow in the wet. Was very odd.

If we`ll have a wet track on FP1/FP2 that means PU influence is less important hence we could see which car has the biggest DF out there ... looking forward to seeing that  ...

No rain on Friday, the highest probability of rain is at 5pm Saturday local time, smack dab at the start of qualifying. There's a chance of rain on Sunday as well but it looking less and less likely to affect the race. Of course forecasts are subject to change as the race looms closer.

They wouldn't bother going out, first race or not, installation plus a couple of sighters is all you'd get. For you to see DF comparison potential with nullified PU differences is during a critical competitive session, qually or race. But even then, wet maps for the engine must play a huge part?

So dry practice sessions, so all teams can finalise their testing. So this place can go speculation crazy, with solid info instead of smoke and mirrors testing!
