Just to put the last willy wave into context my last car was a Supra with 392BHP ;)

But I didn't need it anymore and it would cost too much to turn it into a track only car so I got rid of it. Still miss it if i'm honest...no car atm.

I drive a Corolla Liftback/Sprinter Cielo/Corolla Seca (UK/JAP/AU).
Well actually used to drive, right now it is being repaired, dad crashed with it. I changed engines. From a 2E (1.3L SOHC 12valve na 74HP@fly) to a 4E-FTE (1.3L DOC 16valve turbo intercooled 133HP@fly - stock, which it no longer is, never had it dyno tested though). Site to my toyota: http://www.toyota.vze.com
Also used to drive a Subaru700 - crashed with it, and can't be bothered with reparin it. So technicaly, currently, i am car-less.

Used to drive a Toyota Corolla DX Hatchback ('81 model), but we just sold that after doing some fiber/hard metal repairs to the body.

i drive a 92 civic hb with a 1.8l dohc vtec swap. Its done by taking the block from a non vtec integra (the LS model) and a VTEC head of your choice (for mine, it was the GS-R, due to its square combustion chambers and increase in compression) and there you go. Youre very own hybrid. The reason behind this is the LS block has 1834cc's which is the biggest b18 offered by honda. I shot peened the stock rods, put some ARP rod bolts and head studs, threw in some Integra Type R pistons and a Cvic type R crank pulley and voila, an 11.5:1 compression rev happy engine! anyway heres the most important shot to me....

Just had to rekindle this thread seeing as i have just bought a late 80's Ford Sierra Cosworth off an alcoholic that i have the pleasure of working with. He is currently on his second driving ban (7yrs this time) for glug,glug...vroom,vroom. So given the usual financial difficulties that alcoholics find themselves in, he has sold this magnificent example worth £1,500 for £200! Keeps him off the road and gets me a bargain. I'm only going to drive it around until the tax runs out next month and then i'm going to use it as my donor car for my Lo-Cost (self build based on the book by Ron Champion 'How to Build a Sports Car for Under £250' -based on a Lotus 7). Although the chances are that it will turn into a Hi-Cost as i can see myself easily adding another zero onto Mr. Champions thrifty estimate. This Cosworth engine pushes out just over 200 b.h.p. unmodified, sat in a car weighing around 600 kg will give me a better power to weight ratio than a Lotus Exige!! Wish me luck. :D

Unfortunately, I live in Canada where it snows 1/3 of the year, so I drive a 2002 BMW M3 in the snow and a 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet in the summer.

It's too bad Porsche doesn't have an F1 team, otherwise I'd have someone else to cheer for other than BMW Williams!
