So this weekend Haas ruined theirs with the crossthreading of two wheelnuts/axles. I know the axle’s aluminium is a soft metal and care needs to be taken. But how do teams normaly prevent wrecking the threads?
I know one trick is to turn a screw backwards until in “falls” in the thread and than fasten it, does it work for wheelnuts and do they have the time for it?
