McLaren screwed up on strategy. Should have kept Fernando out on Mediums on a 1 stop strategy, to take P4.......
Sent Alo to pit much better than overtaken by Gasly in straight.

Driver of the day, no doubt, Max Verstappen, for committing suicide!

i am also surprised. they went to medium and i thought master move. i dnt know why they pitted Alonso again. mclaren strategy dept it too poor. alonso was gaining on hulk before stop. that stop was a blunder.

Now imagine that every race.

We need to change the tyres to make the variations of compounds larger (Swiss cheese to concrete) .

good race, alonso is alonso, and that made the difference.

like i said before, car is draggy as fukk**, maybe 2 stiff suspension not giving the mechanical grip ,

who knows... but yeah kimi out, 2 redbulls out, one haas also with damage... otherwise around p10... and honda p4 with a rookie lol ... they need a to fix a lot of problems

maybe after barcelona normal big update they can clean some of the dirty downforce and be more efficient.

Vettel managed a race when he was forced into a one stopper. Hamilton was lucky that both RB and RAI had problems this weekend.

Vettel lucky that Hamilton had a gearbox penalty. He was only 5 seconds behind having driven two stints on "slower" tyres. If he'd been in P4, he'd have won today.
Not sure about that, turn 1 would've been different, could've got tagged too many variables to account for but I get your point though mercedes need to stop leaving these open goals that Ferrari are happy to take.

I was referring to the the race itself not the weekend as a whole. If Hamilton had no gearbox penalty then Vettel's strategy would be different don't you think?

Mercedes forced Ferrari to change its strategy but incredibly Vettel has managed to do it. Incredible!!!!

It was a good move but Vettel has done it.

This person got lucky, that person got lucky. Blah blah blahhhhh
I know, I agree. But couldn't resist blowing back at him!

I thought it was a good race to watch. Proper "will he, won't he" race. Perfect.

Amazing drive by Vettel. He totally deserved this win.
A shame Kimi had this pit stop incident. It's like all the bad luck of this world happens to be on him. But the mechanic was the most unlucky one, for sure. Hopefully he will recover without any problems.

The race could have been much more interesting, if Redbull and Kimi continued to race - and much harder for Mercedes.

Gasly and Toro Rosso, wow. Honda not so bad, I would say. :)

Exactly, Gasly was catching him, would have blasted down the straight.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Because the gasly result was on merit and he did not benefit from those same retirements?
