Well, that may work if the engine in 2006 didn't rev at (probably) over 21.000 rpm and was limited to 19.000 rpm now ;-). If all these improvements are true, we may be seeing an engine that's nearly as powerful as a 2006 engine.
Yes but I doubt the 2006 engine generated max power at max revs ;)

I agree, though...the power will be a little more than late 2006, I reckon.

Raikkonen had a similar to Bahrain rear wing . Massa instead used a different spec

I will ask my question about the vented Ferrari nose again.
How do you think it works in the rain? Is the airflow with rain water spraying the driver? Or is the airflow directed over the driver's head towards the airbox and camera mount? Both situations can not be good.

there is no spray going thru the nose hole since there is nothing infront of it to create the spray. spray only exists behind the tyres and difusor, and i dont see them driving 10cm behind someone else's difusors.

When a driver drives in the rain, he will get wet. Not soaked, but certainly wet. I see the nose-cone hole having little impact on how wet the driver gets, or how much spray hit's his helmet.

You are 100% correct about the rain and the vented nose. I see it now. What was I thinking? The sport windscreen on my motorcycle does push most of the rain over my head but I still get soaked. Thanks for straightening me out.

REAR WING - TURKEY
Image

New rear wing for both drivers in Turkey , it was W shaped like Honda's wing and provided less downforce and drag compared to Spanish versions . There were also 2 slits (gills) on the endplates similar to Raikkonen's spanish RW version

Anyone might guess if this is an aero update or a suspension update? Both?

I'm referring to those triangles we've seen them test in Monza before the season started, on the upper wishbones.

After 14 hours on the job, I'd better point out clearly that my last post was meant to be humorous.

Seriously, I look forward to Ferrari cranking up its development in the face of McLaren continuing and BMW's growing strength.

We should see some interesting tweaks in the weeks ahead.

All F1 cars have aerodynamically shaped suspension parts, can't blame Shoey for that  :D

donskar: I thought they could be aero as long as they don't produce down force is this correct?
