Ferrari getting a couple of practice sectors in. Better from Hamilton but can he reproduce it on the US in Q3?

Was Hamilton's fastest Q2 lap done on soft that were 6 laps old?

I reckon Raikkonen will finally go fastest in Q3 this weekend, with Vettel and and Bottas in P2 and P3.

I don’t believe so. They’re just not quick enough. Its a J. Allison car, always said JA was overrated.

Kimi so close... yet so far.
Maybe Mercedes shouldve worked a little bit on bit on low fuel and soft tires during the winter... That was quite a beating.

Aah, would be nice to see an oldman on pole today but Seb did a great job. Well done.

Shows you how much a fast car is worth if you cant make the tires dance.

Ferrari has it spot on. Credit to Vettel, but Kimi should have had this one. Purple in S1 and S2 and then threw it away at the second last corner.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Hamilton is mighty around here, take a look at his qualifying lap, the way he exits turn 3 and goes through 4 is nothing short of magic, the line he takes is very unique. Common sense would tell you to take the inside line and take a straight shot. Hamilton brakes early right before the dip, positions the car and rides the outside of the turn, it's very hard to copy this line let alone make it work like he does.

Half a second faster than Merc on a Merc Track. Is it too early to answer Marchionne's question about the car being either a monster or garbage?
